International audienceAlthough some associations between the leatherback turtle Dermochelys coriacea and the Gulf Stream currenthave been previously suggested, no study has to date demonstrated strong affinities between leatherbackmovements and this particular frontal system using thorough oceanographic data in both the horizontal andvertical dimensions.
