National audienceRedevelopment works in the city center of Poitiers (France-Vienne), lead to several archeological interventions. The Mayor’s office cooperated with INRAP and Service Régional de l’Archéologie to create a virtual historical visit, using “increased reality” technology. Plans and results of excavations were used for this project, as well as works of scientific committee members, archeologists and historians. These elements were selected to show urban district evolution and to realize a 3D computer-graphic. At every stage of creation, the likelihood of those elements was researched.
