International audienceLatin America's territorial organization is strongly influenced by the inherited structures left by the natural resources exploitations. In Argentina, after a long period of military dictatorship and the return to democracy, the 1990’ neoliberal turn promotes an extractive model for export. Thus, the spatial distribution of mining affects the Andes which is being developed as a raw materials reservoir at a global scale. Transnational actors -which have an important role in building public policies - largely influence this territorial orientation.
