INST: L_135This study investigates the differences between medical and mental health professionals and students on empathy. 133 physicians, mental health professionals, medical students and psychology students were examined on measures of behavioral empathy, self-reported empathy and emotion regulation. Additionally, the use of communication roadblocks was analyzed. Taken together, the results highlight the importance of training on empathy skills for all healthcare professionals
