INST: L_135In this study, psychosocial, emotional, behavioral, and divine forgiveness determinants were tested to understand how forgiving self occurs. The results show that optimism, guilt-repair, guilt-negative behavior evaluation, shame-withdraw, and shame- negative self evaluation were significant predictors of self-forgiveness. Conciliatory behaviors and divine forgiveness have no effect on forgiving self. Optimism and locus of control have significant direct effect on prediction of self-forgiveness
