A constant frequency generation system using a wound rotor induction motor fed by the matrix converter is investigated. Stator voltage vector-oriented control algorithm and a space vector modulated matrix converter in the control autonomous generator are presented. Simulation and investigation of power generation system were carried out in a MATLAB/Simulink environment. Obtained results are presented illustrating a good control system performance
