Through the recent pandemic, it has become a necessity to understand whether or not students need to be learning synchronously or asynchronously to obtain the proper instruction and attention needed to be successful. This paper jumps into the advantages and disadvantages of each learning method, as well as how educators can design e-learning environments to best meet the needs of our students.
