Implementasi Guided Discovery Pada Pembelajaran Genetika Terhadap Peningkatan Berfikir Kritis Kreatifitas dan Kolaboratif Siswa SMAN 1 Lawang

The challenges of 21st century education today require students to have high-level thinking skills given the many dynamic changes that occur in the surrounding environment, especially in the field of education. High-level thinking skills are divided into several aspects including critical, creative and collaborative thinking skills. It is necessary to apply the right learning methode to improve these abilities. One of the appropriate learning models to improve critical, creative and collaborative thinking skills in students is the Guided Discovery Methode The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of Guided Discovery Methode in learning genetics to increase higher thinking skills of students of SMAN 1 Lawang which include critical, creative, and collaborative thinking skills. This quasi-experiment was carried out by means of a pre-test and post-test control group design. The population in this study was students of grade XII IPA SMAN 1 Lawang. The sample involved in this study is student of class XII IPA 3 (eksperiment class) with a total of 25 student and student of class XII IPA 4 with a total of 36 student, obtained by purposive sampling technique. This research was conducted for 6 months from June to November 2020. The results showed that there are differences in the critical, creative and collaborative thinking skills of students who studied with the Guided Discovery Methode with a level of significance
