The subject of the doctoral dissertation is the periodical "Hebdomas" which was published in Athens in two periods: during the first period (1884-1886) the publisher and director was Demetrios Gr. Kampouroglou and during the second period (1887-1892) Ioannis M. Damvergis. The study is based on the systematic indexing of all issues, Bulletins and Appendices of the periodical, which is examined within the historical and cultural context of the time. An attempt is made to highlight his special physiognomy through the intentions of the publishers, as evidenced by their program statements.
