Griffigkeitsprognose von Asphaltoberflächen Die Griffigkeit von Asphaltoberflächen hat einen wesentlichen Einfluss auf die Nutzungsdauer einer Straße, da zufolge von größeren Bremsweglängen die Verkehrssicherheit maßgeblich beeinträchtigt wird. Deshalb ist es von besonderem Interesse, diesen Kennwert möglichst genau vorhersagen zu können, um eine kostengünstige und ressourcenschonende Straßenerhaltung zu ermöglichen. In Österreich wird bei neuen Straßenoberflächen derzeit nur die Polierresistenz der verwendeten Gesteinskörnung bezogen auf einen vorgegebenen Grenzwert geprüft.
