A case of primary malignant lymphoma of the bladder is reported. The patient was a 74-year-old woman who complained of gross hematuria, pollakisuria and pain on urination for about one year. Preoperative examinations with cystography, CT and transurethral tumor biopsy suggested malignant non-epithelial tumor of the bladder. Total cystectomy and bilateral cutaneous ureterostomy were done on March 2 I, 1980. The operations revealed that the tumor infiltrated through the bladder wall, but that the nearby organs were free of tumorous growth. Histological examination of the extirpated bladder showed severe infiltration of lymphoma cells in the entire bladder wall.
