This series includes 56 cases of the bladder tumors. Of the 56 cases 51 were male and 5 were female. They had neither treatment nor preventive measures after the first surgery. 1) The recurrence rate of this group was 18.2% within one year, 32.1% within two years, 37.7% within three years, 41.2% within four years, 43.8% within five years, 56.4% within seven years and 71 .9% within ten years. 2) 23 cases had recurrence and 17 cases of them had recurrence within the first two years. 3) The nature or character of the tumor had an important effect upon a higher recurrence rate of the tumor.
