RENAL ANGIOMYOLIPOSARCOMA : REPORT OF A CASE

A case of renal angiomyoliposarcoma was reported. The patient was a 26-year-old woman with the chief complaint of right flank pain. Intravenous urogram showed displacement of the right kidney and enlargement of the left renal pelvis. Retroperitoneal pneumogram and selective renal arteriogram suggested a right retroperitoneal tumor and a tumor of the left kidney. Left nephrectomy and extirpation of the right tumor were performed. Histological diagnosis was renal angiomyoliposarcoma. After the operation the patient recieved 60CO irradiation and Futraful treatment. She is now in a good condition without signs of recurrence or metastases. Tuberous sclerosis was not associated. In Japan 4 cases of renal angiomyoliposarcoma were reported until 1975 and our case was 5th case
