1) Seven cases of pheochromocytoma were operated in our clinic, 5 of which were treated for the past 5 years (1968-1972). As for the localization of tumor, 3 were left adrenal, 3 were right adrenal, and one was the ectopic tumor being at the isthmus of the horseshoe kidney. Maximum weight of tumor in our cases was 190 g. 2) Preoperative, operative and postoperative management were discussed. 3) Of 7 cases with pheochromocytoma, 6 were "cured" and one "improved". The normalization of hypertension was recognized within 6 months except one improved case in which blood pressure changed from 250/140 preoperative to 170/100 postoperative
