This study examined data to learn more about the stability of placements in the foster care system specific to a foster care placement agency in Los Angeles County. This study centered on questions concerning why some placements in foster homes are stable and why some placements experience disruption from the removal of foster children from their foster homes. This study was based on capturing 10 years of archived data from 2008 to 2018 from Trinity Youth Services. The sample encompassed data from 100 foster parents and 236 foster children.
