Many student nurses are required to participate in preceptorships for a period of practical experience and training supervised by an experienced registered nurse. Through the implementation of a preceptor workshop program outlining the roles of a preceptor, responsibilities of the nurse, topics to teach to the students, and clinical evaluation, student nurses would benefit though the passage of knowledge.
