CENTRIFUGE MODEL TESTS ON ULTIMATE BEHAVIOR OF LATELALLY LOADED REINFORCED CONCRETE PILES

Pile group subjected to a large lateral deformation was carried out by centrifugal model tests to investigate its response of a reinforced mortar pile (equivalent to a cast-in-place concrete pile) at ultimate strength. In order to observe the behavior of both the pile and soil, a semi-round pile was also used and one of the sides of the test chamber was made of glass.
