International audienceFirst, an acceleration to compute the impedance matrix obtained from the EFIE (electric field integral equation) discretized by the Galerkin MoM (method of moments) with Rao-Wilton-Glisson basis functions, is addressed. It is based on a far-field approximation and makes it possible to avoid to loop on the source and observation triangles. Next, the impedance matrix is split into strong and weak interactions; the latter is compressed by expressing it from Toeplitz sub-matrices. Then, the linear system is efficiently solved by a bi-iterative scheme.
