Veracruz and Valencia: distant liberal and revolutionary parallelisms in the nineteenth century

During the 19th century a series of revolutions framed within the bourgeois revolutionary cycle took place. These revolutions occurred not only in Europe (England, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, etc.), but also, of course, on the American continent. This article tries to demonstrate that in Mexico as well, there was a bourgeois revolution, and that since this was not an isolated event, it makes up part of the rest of the revolutions. In this case, the comparison is of the circumstances in Veracruz and Valencia.Durante el siglo XIX tuvo lugar una serie de revoluciones enmarcadas dentro del ciclo revolucionario burgués. Estas revoluciones no sólo tuvieron lugar a nivel europeo (Inglaterra, Francia, Alemania, España, Italia, etc.) sino también y por supuesto, en el continente americano. Este artículo intenta demostrar que también en México se produjo la revolución burguesa y cómo ésta no fue aislada sino que se integra perfectamente en el resto de revoluciones, comparando en este caso, el caso veracruzano con el valenciano
