Dimension body-mind. From Spinoza to Damasio. Images, signs, emotions and feelings in the language

Este trabajo pretende establecer, a partir de la obra de Spinoza y fundamentalmente de Damasio, las similitudes entre ambos para justificar que la controversia cuerpo-mente no es tal y que debe ser superada por una visión desde el paradigma de la actual neurociencia y el papel del cerebro como regulador de la conducta humana. Esta afirmación adquiere una clara voluntad general, al tratar de plasmarla en el estudio de las variables fundamentales para la visión psicológica de la conducta. Esta opción no es otra que la del estudio de las emociones en sentido amplio y del lenguaje expresivo en sentido más estricto. Se trata de reivindicar el papel de la Ética propuesta por Spinoza como justificación del desarrollo actual del paradigma neurocientífico enel estudio sistemático y eminentemente psicológico de las emociones.The aim of this paper is to establish, since the work of Spinoza and Damasio fundamentally, the similarities between the two authors, in order to justify that the controversial brain-mind is not just to be overcome by a vision from the current paradigm of neuroscience and the role the brain as a regulator of human behavior. This statement takes a clear general will to try to shape it in the study of fundamental variables for psychological view of behavior. This option is none other than the study of emotions at large and expressive language in strictest sense. It is claiming the role of Spinoza's Ethics proposition as ajustification of the current development paradigm in the systematic study neuroscientist and eminently psychological of the emotions
