ПОЕТИКА П’ЄС МИКОЛИ КУЛІША «НАРОДНИЙ МАЛАХІЙ» І «ПАТЕТИЧНА СОНАТА»

The article is devoted to studying of the dominant aspects of the poetics of M. G. Kulish’s plays “The people’s Malakhiy” and “Pathetique sonata” concerning time and space (images of a road, a street, distance, a wall, cages, opposition of “up – down” motif of revival, complicated artistic time).The purpose of the article is to analyze the characteristic features of the expressionist poetics of the author’s dramaturgy. The theoretical and practical significance of the annotated work is that the main results of this article can be used in the further study of the history of Ukrainian literature of the first half of the XX century, the artistic world of M. G. Kulish’s drama.The methodology of the research in the stated work assumes the use of elements of the mythocritical approach, the structural-semiotic method, as well as the motivational analysis. As a result of the research, we came to the following conclusions: in the analyzed works of the author, the modernist principles of depicting reality, the parabolicity of texts, the symbolization and metaphorization of the artistic world, in particular time and space prevail, the expressiveness of monologues, the appeal to grotesques, irony, the reception of masks, contrasting, hyperbolization, neomythologisms.The article noted the conceptual importance for the investigated elements of the social pieces (political) mythology, art actualized in dramatic texts (for example, the myth of a helmsman (Lenin), homelessness, image of a “new man”, provincialism, sacralization of a political leader, messianism of the proletariat, “one’s own — stranger”, etc.).The article is intended for specialists and post-graduate students working in the field of philology, theater history, etc.Статтю присвячено вивченню домінантних аспектів поетики п’єс М. Доведено, що символізація й метафоризація, звернення до гротеску, іронії, неоміфологізму, прийому маски, контрастування є константами художнього світу автора
