Relevance of research. Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is considered the most common disease, the frequency of which reaches 20% of the population. It is often combined with obesity. An important role in the development of bothpathologies is the disturbance of the colonic microbiota.The purpose of the study is to investigate the nature of changes in the colon microflora in patients with IBS with constipation (IBSc) and their development on the background of obesity and to compare the results with the parameters of the lipid blood spectrum.Material and methods.
