Abstract. The article considers the methods of so-called "silence-speech" – specific speech, tactics andstrategies of which are oriented, on the one hand, to the author’s non-identification of some aspects and events of socio-political life; on the other hand, to the use of intentional ambiguity, which violates the rule of accuracy and obviousness of a speech, and at the same time makes it understandable, accessible to the target audience's perception of the speaker.
