The technology of extraction of a natural facing stone by waterjet quarry systems is considered, the comparative analysis of existing technologies of separation of blocks from a rock mass with waterjet technology is made, its advantages and lacks in comparison with other ways of extraction of a natural stone are certain, and also the basic directions of development of the given technology are formulated.Розглянуто технологію видобування природного облицювального каменю гідроструминними установками, виконано порівняльний аналіз існуючих способів відокремлення блоків від масиву з гідроструминною технологією, визначені її переваги і недоліки порівняно з іншими способами видобування каменю, а також сформульовані основні напрямки розвитку даної технології
