The article deals with the study of individual well-being in sociological approach to isolate those aspects, the empirical research of which will provide much information about the phenomenon. Well-be- ing is understood as a “state of equilibrium or balance that can be affected by life events or challenges” (R. Dodge, A. P. Daly, J. Huyton, L. D. Sanders, 2012).The scheme of the study of individual well-being, consisting of subjective, socio-psychological, social, cultural and educational, political, economic, environmental indicators, is proposed.
