ОЛЕКСАНДР ОЛЕКСАНДРОВИЧ БРАУНЕР (1857–1941): НАРИСИ БІОГРАФІЇ І НАУКОВОЇ ТВОРЧОСТІ

The research of the role of Oleksandr Brauner in the development of the biological science in the end of the XIX th – the first half of the XX th centuries is of current concern. It is caused by the absence of a special systematic research of his social life, research, scientific, organizational and pedagogical heritage in the history of the national natural study. It is necessary to develop a maximum objective and complete scientific biography of the scientist, a comprehensive study of his creative input. Today the works of the scientist are of high priority and scientific value. They have become very significant because the modern scientists try to develop the complete history of the development of the national science and history as a whole with joint efforts.On the grounds of the predecessors the biographic data of Oleksandr Brauner, the statistician, the financier, the writer, the natural scientist, the educator, the publicist, the indefatigable nature researcher of the Northern Black Sea region were systematized. It is defined that in spite of an active scientific and social activity of Oleksandr Bauner the value of his heritage hasn’t been set upon yet. The directions of the further research of his life and work are outlined. They include the supplementation of his biography, determination of the personal and professional relations, carrying out the historiographical analysis of the scientist’s works, study of his publicistic activity, study of the epistolary heritage, etc.На основі праць попередників, систематизовано біографічні данні статистика, фі-нансиста, письменника-натураліста, викладача, публіциста та невтомного дослідника природи Північного Причорномор’я Олександра Олександровича Браунера. Визначено, що попри активну наукову та суспільну діяльність О. Браунера досі не отримав належ-ної оцінки своєї роботи. Намічено основні напрямки подальших досліджень його життя та діяльності, зокрема доповнення біографії, визначення кола особистих та професій-них зв’язків й проведення історіографічного аналізу праць вченого, вивчення публіцис-тичної діяльності, дослідження епістолярної спадщини тощ
