We rst focused on the problem of power-aware data collection in large-scale wireless sensor networks.We proposed various fault tolerant deployment and redeployment strategies to ensure full connectivityand optimal coverage and to ensure ecient data dissemination. Next, we investigated hierarchicalmethods and we assessed the interest of ecient spatial redundancy management of the sensors within theframework of a clustering mechanism.
