Les expositions itinérantes comme médias éducatifs pour l’Éducation au Développement Durable : une légitimation en tension entre cadres prescriptifs et images des concepteurs

The Sustainable Development, Why? operation highlighted travelling exhibitions as levers for the generalisation of Education for Sustainable Development. Selected, publicised or marked with a National Education logo, they acquire legitimacy for this education, defined since 2004. This interdisciplinary thesis, which crosses educational and communicational fields, studies the links between the objectives of ESD and those of legitimised exhibitions, and attempts to clarify certain aspects of the circulation of ideas related to sustainable development in schools. Analyses of ESD prescriptions, 196 exhibitions and interviews with school officials show that the legitimisation of these media is in tension between prescriptive, sometimes contradictory frameworks and the presuppositions of the National Education system regarding the producers of the exhibitions, who put up signs on the panels with the marks of enunciation that condition their reception.L’opération Le développement durable, pourquoi ? a mis en avant les expositions itinérantes comme leviers de la généralisation de l’Éducation au Développement Durable. Sélectionnées, publicisées ou marquées d’un logotype de l’Éducation nationale, elles acquièrent une légitimité pour cette éducation à, définie depuis 2004. Cette thèse interdisciplinaire, croisant les champs éducatifs et communicationnels, étudie les liens entre les objectifs de l’ÉDD et ceux d’expositions légitimées, et tente de clarifier certains ressorts de la circulation des idées liées au développement durable dans l’École. Les analyses des prescriptions en ÉDD, de 196 expositions et d’entretiens de cadres de l’institution scolaire montrent que la légitimation de ces médias est en tension entre des cadres prescriptifs, parfois contradictoires, et les présupposés de l’Éducation nationale sur les producteurs des expositions ; lesquels inscrivent sur les panneaux des marques d’énonciation conditionnant leurs réceptions
