This thesis is a part of "Source to Sink Guyana" project supported by TOTAL and BRGM. Its objective was to establish bases for a Source to Sink study of the Guiana Shield, by studying the geo-dynamic evolution of its passive margin since 200 Ma. These objectives were acquired after seismic data interpretation, crustal cross-sections and paleogeographic maps constructions and terrigeneous accumulation history quantification of the margin. The passive margin of the Guiana Shield is composed of two basins: Guiana/Suriname (GS) and Foz d'Amazonas (FOZ), derived from a Jurassic then Lower Cretaceous diachronous rifting respectively.
