International audienceWhat Iconography for Contemporary Cultural History ? When observing the heuristic discourse on cultural history and other neighboring human sciences, we agree on the fact that images play an important part in the analysis of objects. This role is also present in the editorial enunciation through the illustrated form. What types of images are selected ? What visual materials are they representative of ? What type of relationship word-image is conveyed in the making up ?
