Deux mondes et l'action du corps

With regard to the relation between being and knowledge, Bergson seeks to always lead these terms to the concordance which will consist in his ideas of two opposite realities and his conception of knowledge. It is, however, true that we do in fact ontologically and biologically know external things only through perception, and therefore deduce their existence from our perception. So how does Bergson reach the concordance of these two opposing terms? From there we realize that it will be for him to account for the existence, to reveal the nature of our knowledge. So our job is to look at how to explain the reality of two different beings and access to it, that is, our knowledge. And we find that the French philosopher establishes their reality in his Courses and Essay respectively, and that he finally insists on their meeting not only psychologically, but also materially. There we notice that there is the body and its action interspersed in two worlds. It is they who make immediate contact with the two, and through which they constantly meet one another. Above all, it will be revealed that the active externalization of the mind consists in its so-called free action, of which Bergson's two last works analyzed here by us are concerned. However, the body, it seems, does not serve just as a material instrument of its externalization. For we shall see its nature neither material nor spiritual, but singular.En ce qui concerne le rapport entre l’être et la connaissance, Bergson cherche à conduire toujours ces termes à la concordance laquelle consistera bien dans ses idées de deux réalités opposées et sa conception de la connaissance. Il est pourtant vrai qu’on ne connaît en effet ontologiquement et biologiquement des choses extérieures que par la perception, et qu’on déduit donc leur existence de notre perception. Alors, comment Bergson atteint-il à la concordance de ces deux termes opposés ? De là nous nous apercevons qu’il s’agira pour lui de rendre compte tout d’abord de l’existence, de révéler la nature de notre connaissance. Donc, notre travail consiste à examiner ses démarches d’explication de la réalité de deux êtres distincts et de l’accès à elle, c’est-à-dire notre connaissance. Et nous trouvons que le philosophe français établit leur réalité dans ses Cours et l’Essai respectivement, et qu’il insiste enfin sur leur réunion non pas seulement psychologiquement, mais encore matériellement. Là, nous remarquons qu’il y a le corps et son action intercalés dans deux mondes. C’est bien eux qui prennent contact immédiate avec les deux, et par lesquels ceux-ci se rejoignent sans cesse l’un à l’autre. Surtout, il se révélera que l’extériorisation active de l’esprit consiste bien dans son action dite libre dont traitent les deux dernières œuvres analysées ici par nous. Cependant, le corps, semble-t-il, ne sert pas justement d’instrument matériel de son extériorisation. Car nous verrons sa nature ni matérielle, ni spirituelle, mais singulière
