This report presents initial results from a survey aimed at learning developers working in academic skills centres at Swedish universities. The overall purpose of the survey was to gain insights into their perspectives on their work with multilingual students and in relation to higher education institutions as multilingual settings. The report presents learning developers' perspectives on the influence of university language policy and policies of internationalisation and widening participation on their work, as well as the teaching and learning strategies they suggested for writing consultations with multilingual students. The report additionally presents a number of questions raised by the survey results.
