More recently the absolute Cesàro space |Cα|p (p≥1) has been defined and some matrix operators on it have been studied by Sarıgöl. In this study, we have characterized the classes of infinite matrices |Cα|p, X where X = {c0, c, l∞} and p≥1 and so we have extended some well-known results. Also, by establishing the Hausdorff measures of noncompactness of certain matrix operators on this space we give the necessary and sufficient conditions for such operators to be compact. © 2019, © 2019 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC
