Regiolęki : kilka uwag o regionalizmie literackim

The article addresses the growth of literary regionalism (understood here as region-alism in Literature and Literary Studies). The author introduces some trends that are characteristic for the contemporary Polish studies in Humanities, outlining possible future developments. While speaking about a great interest in a so called new re-gionalism and postcolonial studies, the author also points out less popular concepts of the minor cultures, such as localism and the ideas connected with intercultural communication. In her view, the most promising option in the theory of regionalism is its affirmative version, and this is also so because of the social commitment of the university to it
