The Effect of Variety and Planting Systems on Increasing Productivity of Wetland Rice in Tanjungbalai City North Sumatra. Planting systems and the use of new high yielding varieties are cultivation technique components to increase the rice productivity. The productivity of rice in Tanjungbalai City only reaches 4.41 tons/hectare, which is below the national average of 5.34 tons/hectare.
