As Mulheres Quilombolas do COSNEC (Grupo de Consciência Negra de Cel. Xavier Chaves) e seus fazeres artísticos: Ressignificação e empoderamento

This study, which uses qualitative research and ethnographic method, aims to verify - from the musical performances shown through the singing and dancing of the women of COSNEC (Black Consciousness Group of Cel Xavier Chaves in Minas Gerais) The transformation that took place in their lives, social and affective, for the dissemination of the culture of black origin, in order to practice, at the present time, the values of their slave ancestors in the Catholic and Afro-descendant syncretic context.Esse estudo, que se utiliza da pesquisa qualitativa e método etnográfico, tem como objetivo verificar - a partir dos fazeres musicais mostrados através do canto e da dança das mulheres do COSNEC (Grupo de Consciência Negra de Cel. Xavier Chaves em Minas Gerais) -, a transformação ocorrida em suas vidas, social e afetiva, pela divulgação da cultura de origem negra, no intuito de praticar, na atualidade, os valores de seus antepassados escravos no contexto sincrético católico e afro-descendente
