Nondestructive evaluation (NDE) consists of methods and techniques for the periodic testing of materials and structures that do not require machine disassembly. Electromagnetic NDE makes use of electromagnetic induction, fields, or varying currents for probing and measuring the test samples and thus achieving NDE goals.
