ANALISIS PENCAHAYAAN ALAMI DAN BUATAN PADA MUSEUM BALAPUTRA DEWA PALEMBANG

The museum is a place to store and display collections of historical heritage. The city of Palembang has a museum that stores and displays collections from the historical heritage of the Sriwijaya kingdom, called the Balaputra Dewa Palembang Museum. One important factor in displaying collections in museums is the good lighting factor, considering that the activities in the museum have a connection with the senses of the eye. For this reason, a study was conducted at the Balaputra Dewa Museum, research conducted on the collection room of the statue's relics and exhibition buildings. This research was conducted to find out and understand whether natural and artificial lighting in the statue collection room and exhibition building had met the recommended lighting levels. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of surveys, as well as measurements with lux meter measuring instruments and simulations using the Ecotect program and the Desktop Radiance program. The results obtained from measurements that the natural lighting at the Balaputra Dewa Museum already meets the standards and for artificial lighting does not meet the standards of the recommended lighting levels.
