Efficiency can be generally defined as the extent to which time, effort, or cost is well used for the intended task or purpose. And efficiency can be a measureable concept, in which it is typically quantified by determining the ratio of output to input. Overall the United States Beef industry, has accomplished major advances in efficiency by producing more pounds of beef with decreasing cow numbers.
