The University of Maine’s strategic plan outlines goals for Research and Graduate Education. These goals include the enhancement of “our research capacity and output as measured in the core areas of research expenditures and private foundation funding” as well as the advancement of an “integrative model of excellence for graduate education in the 21st century”.
