Data on remarkable plants for the Province of Modena (Northern Italy, south of Po River, Emilia-Romagna region) are presented. This contribution, which comes to light ten years after Flora del Modenese, deals with 171 entities, of which 69 are novelties, 17 indicated by mistake, 34 confirmed. For 50 extremely rare species, new data are presented. Among these, some are related to wetland habitats. 1 species has probably disappeared (Eriophorum scheuchzeri). Overall, the trend towards an increase in thermophilic and exotic species is confirmed. Meanwhile several other researches have been carried out; among these, at least the one relating to the flora of the historic center of Modena should be mentioned
