The Historiographic Work of Ibn ‘Idārī

Este artículo analiza el papel de Ibn ‘Idārī dentro de la historiografía árabe y su importancia como fuente para la historia de al-Andalus, así como un estudio sistemático de la dispersa edición y traducción de su obra Bayān al-mugrib, finalizando con un estudio de las fuentes que utilizó para escribirla.This article analyses the roles of ‘Ibn‘Idārī in Arabic historiography and his importance as a source for the history of al-Andalus. The paper is also a systematic study of the dispersed edition and translation of his work Bayān al-mugrib, and the different sources he used to write it
