When we define a body of a dancer, who attracts the viewers, as “the dancing body”, we face two questions: how is “the dancing body” structured and how does a dancer understand it himself. In the previous research, the aspects of “the dancing body” were analyzed through literature. In this research, we conducted interviews to two dancers using Personal Attitude Construct (PAC) Analysis method. This allowed us to draw an analysis on the practical aspects of “the dancing body”. The results showed that dancer structures the image of “the dancing body” based on the experience of viewing and performancing dance, and have a dialogue with her own mind and body when she is under dance training.
