Problems and Solutions Associated with Financing of NGO Operating in Social Services Focusing on Social Exclusion

The thesis covers problems and solutions associated with the financing of a non-profit organization operating in the area of social services focusing on social exclusion, primarily the social exclusion of Roma minority. In the first part, there are areas associated with this problematics developed. They are the influence of the external environment on the (primarily financial) functioning of the organization from the perspective of the organizational theories, civil society and civil society organizations, social services, Roma minority, fundraising for NGOs and financing of social services. The second part uses a case study to examine how a specific NGO where all the areas mentioned above are interlinked, deals with its financing. Data were obtained from interviews with employees of the organization and through document analysis
