YÖK Tez No: 650295Ülkemizde doğal olarak bulunan pseudomaki (Yuvacık bölgesi) ve maki (Kozan bölgesi) vejetasyonuna ait bazı odunsu taksonların anatomilerinde ekolojik farklılıkların etkilerinin araştırılması çalışma konusunu oluşturmuştur. Bu çalışma kapsamında yedi türe ait (Arbutus andrachne, Erica arborea, Phillyrea latifolia, Laurus nobilis, Pistacia terebinthus, Rhus coriaria, Spartium junceum) odun örnekleri üzerinde çalışılmıştır. Odun örnekleri her bir tür için birer adet olmak üzere türlerin doğal olarak yayılış gösterdiği maki vejetasyonunda 200-480 m ile pseudomaki vejetasyonunda 195-460 m yükseltiler arasından toplanmıştır.
