Purpose: To compare the chromatic performance of the Bausch & Lomb Versario 3F trifocal intraocular lens (IOL) with the PhysIOL FineVision MicroF trifocal IOL and the Johnson & Johnson Vision TECNIS Symfony ZXR00 extended range of vision (ERV) IOL. Methods: The through-focus energy efficiency (TF-EE) was measured in vitro with red (R), green (G), and blue (B) wavelengths and was used to obtain the focus powers and longitudinal chromatic aberrations (LCAs) for each IOL. Other metrics, derived from the RGB TF-EE curves, were assessed for a more complete description of the chromatic performance of the IOLs.
