Design and implementation of a secondary battery pack for an e-scooter

This document describes the design and implementation of a battery system for e-scooters with the aim of increasing their autonomy. Based on a model based on the main characteristics of the e-scooters most used today, a system consisting of lithium batteries has been designed. This one is modular and portable so that makes a possible combination between one or more battery systems with each other. Once the correct operation of the system created by manufacturing a prototype has been verified, a detailed analysis has been carried out to find out the best way to manufacture it in series, taking into account a possible option of selling the product. After having achieved the expected results with the prototype and having determined the manufacturing method that best adapts to current needs, it is concluded that even having room for improvement, the final product achieves the objective of the work and meets the necessary requirements to be viable its marketing and subsequent use
