As of the beginning of the Syrian war, many Syrian citizens had to relocate and migrate to other countries, which have borders with Syria. Turkey and Jordan are countries, which hosted very high numbers of Syrian refugees. The majority of Syrian refugees are children and they have not been able to integrate into the education system properly in the countries they sought refugee. These children need to acquire a certain level of knowledge and skills to restructure their institutions when they return to their countries in the post-war period.
