Analisis Penguasaan Materi Teori Akuntansi pada Mahasiswa Pendidikan Akuntansi Angkatan 2016/2017 Ditinjau dari Kemandirian Belajar dan Penggunaan Media Informasi Internet Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta

The study aimed to determine the effect of independent learning and the use of information media in mastering accounting theoryof accounting education students’ class of 2016/2017. This research used a quantitative approach and survey as the type of research. The population in this study were students of the Accounting Study Program Class of 2016/2017 Muhammadiyah University of Surakartawho took accounting theory courses totalling 312 students with the population of 175 people and 114 samples. This study usedprobability sampling as the sampling technique with proportional random sampling technique. The data collection technique used a questionnaire that has been tested for validity, reliability, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were multiple regression analysis, t test, F test, R2 test, relative contribution, and effective contribution. The regression analysis obtained Y= 2,318+0,724X1+0,531X2. The conclusions were: 1) independent learning contributed to a positive effect in mastering accounting theory, 2) the use of information media provided a positive effect in mastering accounting theory, 3) independent learning and the use of information media gave a positive effect in mastering accounting theory.Based on the simultaneous test (F test) results, Fcount>Ftable (28.450> 3.09) and a significant value ofFcountwas 0.000
