Abstract - Welding is one of the options in pipe connection. Joining by welding is carried out at high temperatures until the liquid temperature of the material being joined so that it has the potential to cause unwanted effects, one of which is changes in the microstructure of the material that affect the mechanical properties of the material. In this journal, research will be conducted on the effect of single vee joint angles of 50°, 60°, and 75° and root gaps of 1 mm, 2 mm, and 3 mm using GMAW welding on the width of the HAZ. HAZ width will be analyzed with macro test to find out the best.
